This is the Journal of Outstation Boots.
In June 2025 I incorporated a legal entity with the intention to build a boot company, here in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
To build a boot locally for the growing middle class, with increasing desire for quality. And to fill the gap in the market, where a lot of low price, low quality footwear exists, but little else.
In Stories from the Workshop, you’ll find long form content on what it’s like to build Outstation boots. Problems, lessons learned and whatever else happens to be on my mind.
This journal is mostly for me. To brain dump my thoughts. Either to revisit another day, note my decision making, vent a little, or as reference for the future.
It’s not polished, there is no editing, it may ramble, it can be abrupt. What you read is what you get. So be warned.
